A Leadership Montgomery Fall Update

Hello and Happy Fall!

We all know by now that this year is one for the history books and at this point, we are hard pressed to know anyone who hasn’t been affected in some way from the pandemic.

Here at Leadership Montgomery, we have been working hard to continue to deliver ways to connect, learn about the issues that are currently affecting Montgomery County, engage in the community through service offerings, and have tough conversations around racism, healthcare, and the economy.

What you have come to rely on us continues to forge our path forward- providing space for honest conversations; bringing together leaders from diverse background and experiences to learn from each other and work together towards solutions; and ways to build capacity as an individual or at an organizational level. We need connected leaders now more than ever.

The leadership programs held their opening retreats in September in a hybrid format that will be used for the entire program year and we are so excited about our Class of 2021. Wave hello if you see us during one of our session days around the county (from a safe distance of course).

That reminds me, If you haven’t already, don’t forget to register for Virtual Homecoming on October 14, at 4:00 PM to meet this year’s CORE, EL, and SLM classes, hear about LM’s future plans and of course, network!

In a time where most are working from home, remember that LM is here for you. Share your stories; let us know what issues you are tackling; and join us for a training or a virtual event. We’re looking forward to seeing you in person again!

With Gratitude,
