DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT

This is a senior level position responsible for the execution and management of the community relations, media relations, advertising, and marketing functions of Montgomery Community Media. MANAGER OR ADMINISTRATION AND GRANTS

MCAEL seeks a nonprofit professional with a combination of experience in general operations/program administration, bookkeeping/accounting, human resources, benefits, payroll and grants/program management and/or database experience for the role of Manager of Administration and Grants. This is a new internal position that requires significant and consistent attention to detail and will be an integral member of our team. This person will be a key player in development and implementation of policy and procedure, as well as planning and strategy.  S/he will guide and direct the organization’s financial and day-to-day operations and strategies in conjunction with  the Executive Director, taking initiative to bring financial and business expertise to strengthen all aspects of organization’s operations with the goal of adhering to high nonprofit standards of management and an interest in integrating systems and support to further MCAEL’s mission. DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

The Development Coordinator will support the Director of Development and be part of Generation Hope’s growing Development and Communications Team. While the Development Coordinator will play a role in the success of all of Generation Hope’s fundraising efforts, this person will focus primarily on development operations, individual giving, and special events. They will play an important role in ensuring that donors feel welcomed, informed, and engaged with Generation Hope. MANAGER OF NETWORK LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

The Manager of Network Learning and Development is part of the MCAEL ESOL Program team and part of a current total staff team of six people.  This position is responsible for delivering high-quality programs, training, technical assistance and support to the network of adult English literacy programs and instructors in Montgomery County, with an emphasis on training and development. The person in this position is also charged with helping grow the number of qualified instructors to deepen and widen the range of teachers in the network.  A successful candidate will have adult ESOL instructional experience.  Developing and maintaining relationships with the coalition network to increase learning and skill development in adult education, ESOL instruction, and diversity, equity and inclusion makes up the core of this work. VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for overseeing all facility operations and management for The Music Center (190,000 square feet); The Mansion at Strathmore (15,781 square feet); AMP by Strathmore (3,500 square feet), and the surrounding 16-acre campus. The VP of Operations is a member of the senior management team and provides leadership and input to various staff, Board, and ad hoc committees.  The VP of Operations supports positive partner and client relations in a service-oriented culture; oversees facility, venue, and stage operations; is responsible for budgeting and implementing operating and capital expenditures; and negotiates and administers collective bargaining agreements with labor unions. MANAGER OF INSTITUTIONAL GIVING

As a member of the Advancement team, the Manager of Institutional Giving oversees all fundraising efforts with corporate, foundation, and government entities, securing grants and sponsorships for general operating support, education and artistic programs, and special initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, the Manager of Institutional Giving maintains and cultivates strong relationships with current and prospective funders, creates dynamic and detailed written materials, compiles and analyzes organizational data, and communicates the story of Strathmore through qualitative and quantitative means. The Manager of Institutional Giving manages a diverse portfolio of funders, continually researches new prospects, and works closely with senior leadership to strategize institutional fundraising opportunities and partnerships. Additionally, the Manager of Institutional Giving assists in developing an annual plan to engage local, state, and national elected officials to ensure their knowledge of and connection to Strathmore. ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCE COORDINATOR (Part-Time)

This administrative position provides general program administrative support to Nonprofit Montgomery/Montgomery Moving Forward (MMF), including some data and research assistance, and financial record management. CONTROLLER

The Bender JCC’s Finance Department is in the process of rebuilding its team. This role is an opportunity to help drive the financial aspects of the organization, providing critical reporting and analysis in partnership with the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. The Controller will lead all day-to-day operational finance activities, organization, including the production of monthly financial reports, maintenance of the accounting and financial records, internal controls designed to mitigate risk of loss, enhance the accuracy of reported financial results and creation of the annual budget and ensure that the reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The Controller has responsibility over related accounting, receivables, cash collections, record keeping, accounts payable, and other assets and liabilities.
