Application Fees and Tuition

Now accepting applications. Deadline to submit is April 13, 2018

The full tuition cost is $5,200 and tuition assistance is available. Tuition covers all costs including food, retreats and member benefits & events during the program year.

The full tuition cost for a single participant is $800 and tuition assistance is available.

Spouses/significant others are encouraged to apply and participate together; the full, discounted cost for both participants is $1,300.

Costs are based on the level of participation. Individual participation is as little as $200. Businesses are invited to select from Leadership Partnership levels beginning at $750 to take advantage of offerings that meet their community engagement goals. Several of our offerings are also available on a fee-for-service basis. Please contact our office for more information.

Leadership Montgomery is a premiere leadership organization that offers current and emerging leaders the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of Montgomery County, while connecting with other local leaders who share a committment to a thriving community. Our organization builds three generations of informed leaders through its Core, Senior, Emerging Leaders and MoCo Insider programs.

By becoming a graduate, you will join a network  of over 2000 passionate leaders who contribute considerable time, talent and energy to the betterment of the community.  In addition, you will become more aware of the social and economic forces and issues in Montgomery County, and you will develop a greater appreciation for all the County has to offer.

Who is qualified to apply for the Core, Senior and Emerging Leaders programs?

All applicants must:

  • All applicants must either live or work in Montgomery County.
  • Be willing to commit the required time to the program.
  • Have the support of their sponsoring organization.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to strengthening our community.

Graduates join the robust membership community of Leadership Montgomery where they can connect directly with the network of over 2000 alumni and take advantage of exclusive membership events and activities. LM hosts an average of 30 unique member events a year including educational, political, volunteer and networking opportunities.

Graduates serve on more than 1,000 boards, committees and commissions in the County and region.

Graduates stay engaged with Leadership Montgomery through participation on committees and the Board of Directors. They also assist in planning programs, serving as speakers, facilitators and mentors.

LM is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which is not supported by tax dollars. Since tuition covers less than half of the Leadership Montgomery operating budget, individuals, businesses and organizations that recognize Leadership Montgomery’s role in Montgomery County provide generous financial and in-kind support.

Leadership Montgomery welcomes program sponsors, program day hosts, member event sponsors, and donations for scholarship funds.

Leadership Montgomery maintains a collaborative relationship with area community leadership programs and is a member of the Association of Leadership Programs.
