3 LEADERSHIP MONTGOMERY PROGRAMS TO BEGIN ACCEPTING APPLICANTS

Leadership Montgomery (LM) is advancing Montgomery County through a network of more than 2,500 public, private and nonprofit leaders who share a commitment to making meaningful changes for a thriving community. Currently in its 30th year, LM educates, inspires, convenes and connects leaders through programs supported by a hands-on learning curriculum and service-based programs. LM graduates emerge better connected to people, organizations, and volunteer opportunities through improved understanding, services and relationships.

Now is your chance to become part of our network of engaged leaders. Beginning January 21, LM will begin accepting applications for our three experiential learning programs. Each year, more than 100 leaders are competitively selected to participate in one of the following programs:

Connecting our Region’s Execs (CORE), a program for experienced leaders across all sectors who want to gain a deeper understanding of local issues, connect with other key decision-makers and explore ways to collaboratively strengthen our community.

Emerging Leaders (EL) a dynamic program that provides mid-level professionals with the critical tools and connections essential for success. This interactive experience is designed to inform, educate, and connect developing leaders.

Senior Leadership Montgomery (SLM), a program for people 55+ who are seeking to deepen their civic engagement, knowledge about the county and expand their community network. This program will help answer the question, “What’s Next?”.

Leadership Montgomery will also hold several informational sessions where interested applicants will be able to interact with LM Staff, program participants and graduates. The first event will be a Member/Recruit Lunch on January 23 at La Hinch in Potomac. Members, graduates and future applicants can sign up here.

Complete dates and locations of all recruitment events can be found here.

Applications for the CORE, SLM and EL programs are due by 5:00PM on Friday, April 17, 2020. If you have questions about applying to these programs, please reach out to Ali Levingston, VP of Leadership Programs at 301.881.8888 or ali.levingston@leadermont.org.
