The Emmes Corporation Launches Emmes Cares

The Emmes Corporation is not only the program sponsor of Leadership Montgomery’s Corporate Volunteer Council, they’re also a client! Over the course of this year, they have participated in our Employee Volunteer Program Jumpstart offering. Last month, they launched their new “Emmes Cares” employee volunteer program with a kick-off project benefiting the Children’s Inn at NIH.

“On April 19, 2018 Emmes celebrated the kick-off of their Employee Volunteer Program, “Emmes Cares”, during National Volunteer Week. Emmes staff from each business location used their creativity to construct and decorate puzzles and decorate beach balls for the children who visit The Children’s Inn at NIH. Last fiscal year 1,717 families stayed at Children’s Inn and more than 2,300 therapeutic, educational, and diversionary programs were offered. Emmes staff completed over 75 puzzles and beach balls which will soon be delivered to Children’s Inn. Emmes is proud of its long-standing partnership with NIH and it’s public health mission.”
