Keynote Speakers Announced for Inaugural LEAD Forum

Rockville, MDLeadership Montgomery (LM), a Montgomery County-based nonprofit connecting leaders working in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, today announced Dr. DeRionne Pollard and Abigail Seldin will deliver the keynote address its inaugural LEAD Forum. Pollard is President of Montgomery College  and Seldin is the CEO of the Seldin/Haring-Smith Foundation, a nonprofit based in Washington, DC that funds public interest projects and collaborates with tech companies to build tools for college students.

The full-day conference on June 11 will bring together leaders across industries and sectors to learn more about the county, network with other leaders, strengthen critical skills and learn ways to improve the surrounding community. LEAD, which stands for learn, engage, amplify, and develop, aims to give participants the tools of action to broaden their overall leadership abilities.

The LEAD Forum will be a hybrid conference with virtual engagement in the morning followed by an in-person, outdoor networking reception in the afternoon.
