Favorite LM memory: I have two favorite memories. The first is flying in the County Airplane. The pilot was a former flight attendant who followed her passion and became a pilot. She encouraged me to take flying lessons – which I have since done. I also enjoyed the public safety Ride-Along ; this led to me enrolling and completing the Montgomery County Department of Police Citizen Academy.
Favorite way to spend your free time/recharge: I like to do a variety of things to recharge: read, crochet, cook, travel, dance (swing, hand dance, some ballroom and Latin), meditate, garden, play golf, and work on my blog.
Name a leader that inspires you: It’s a tie between Ruth Simmons, former President of Brown University and first African-American female to serve as President of an Ivy League institution and Eleanor Roosevelt- a primary contributor to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
