Help us spread cheer this holiday season! Consider making a financial contribution to support the purchase of gift cards and grocery staples for each family we serve.  With your help and involvement, we can ensure a successful 2021 Holiday Giving Project, meeting our goal of supporting 280 families and over 600 children right here in our own community.

We plan on an in-person, outside,  Holiday Giving Distribution Party on Friday, December 17, 2021.  However, due to the ever-changing plans around COVID-19, it may transition to a contactless delivery party.  We will not be collecting toys until the final decision is made in mid-November 2021.  Should we transition to a contactless delivery party, we will distribute gift cards to families instead of toys.

Regardless of distribution items, you can still support through financial contributions.

About Holiday Giving

For more than 30 years, the Holiday Giving Project of Montgomery County has helped residents in need celebrate the December holidays. A coalition of more than 20 non-profits, local governments, and faith groups volunteer to collect and distribute donations of holiday food, gift cards, or toys to Holiday Giving Project recipients by ZIP code. Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services is the coordinating agency for this county-wide effort.

Leadership Montgomery focuses our giving and collection efforts on the 20906 ZIP code, an area of high need in the County. We are proud to partner with Kennedy Cluster Project for these efforts. We will be happy to connect LM Members and Partners with opportunities to support the Holiday Giving Project in other ZIP codes as desired.
