LM GRADS RECEIVE GRANT FUNDING
CONGRATULATIONS! Leadership Montgomery Graduates garner $85,000 in grant funding for their nonprofit projects from recently re-branded NBCUniversal Telemundo’s 2018 Project Innovation $225,000 grant award pool:
$50,000 Grant Award – Manna Food Center – Stephanie Hubbard (CORE Participant 2018), Director of Development & Communications
$25,000 Grant Award – The Fishing School – Steffi Benjamin (CORE 2017), Director of Development and Communications
$10,000 Grant Award – Community Bridges, Inc. – Shannon Babe-Thomas (CORE Participant 2018), Executive Director

During the prior year’s NBCUniversal Foundation’s annual grant program, 21st Century Solutions $100,000 grant award pool, there were two LM winners:
$25,000 Grant Award – Montgomery Community Television – Tony Spearman-Leach (CORE Participant 2018) and Denise Fredericks (CORE 2013)

Through Project Innovation, The NBCUniversal Foundation and local NBC and Telemundo stations will award nearly $5 million in 2019 to nonprofit organizations that are solving everyday problems through innovation and technology solutions.
