VARIOUS POSITIONS- BLACKROCK CENTER FOR THE ARTS
Rentals Director: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, BlackRock has been closed to in-person experiences, and we have not been able to host a robust rentals program. As the county reopens, the Rentals Director will be responsible for developing a new rentals program, in collaboration with BlackRock’s leadership team, that is financially sustainable and meets Montgomery County’s reopening requirements.
Business Manager: BlackRock Center for the Arts seeks a Business Manager to be responsible for the daily management and integrity of financial information, administrative functions, and accounting systems for the organization. In this capacity, he/she is required to execute approved financial and human resources policies accurately within established deadlines and in compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations and ensure the effective administrative functioning of the organization.
Special Events Manager: The Special Events Manager is responsible for the development and management of BlackRock’s special events, both internal and external. This position is currently part-time with the goal of developing into a full-time position.
Technical Coordinator: The Technical Coordinator will work closely with the Artistic Director and Director of Operations to ensure quality maintenance of the technical aspects of BlackRock’s performance, event, gallery, and rental spaces including lighting, sound, rigging, and video equipment. In addition, the Technical Coordinator will work with the Director of Operations to ensure successful technical execution of performances, special events, and rentals including staffing, equipment rentals, setup, strike, and more.
