VP of Strategy and Innovation
The Vice President of Strategy and Innovation is an exempt, full-time position and serves as a key member of the executive team. This position reports to the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and has three primary areas of responsibility for the organization. The VP of Strategy and Innovation serves as the point person for conceptualizing, developing, updating, and monitoring the Comprehensive Economic Plan. To support this effort, this individual will manage and coordinate the efforts of their dedicated staff resources, county departments and outside experts. Special Projects Manager
The Special Projects Manager is an exempt, full-time position and serves as a key member of the MCEDC’s strategic initiatives team. This position reports to the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation. This position is responsible for the planning, executing, and evaluating of special projects that further MCEDC’s mission and work plan objectives. Research & Policy Manager
The Research & Policy Manager is an exempt full-time position and serves as a key member of MCEDC’s strategy team. This position reports to the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation and will be primarily responsible for leading and managing the research necessary to support MCEDC strategic initiatives, RFP/business development responses, and organizational marketing campaigns. The Economic Development Specialist (Life Sciences)
The Economic Development Specialist (Life Sciences) is an exempt, full-time position and serves as a key member of the MCEDC’s business development team. This position will perform increasingly responsible work to attract and retain life sciences companies in Montgomery County. This person will have experience in life sciences and a passion for learning about life-saving therapies, drugs and other medical advancements, and using that knowledge to make critical connections within the county’s ecosystem. The Strategic Workforce Engagement Manager 
The Strategic Workforce Engagement Manager position is an exempt, full-time position co-funded by WorkSource Montgomery (WSM), the County’s primary workforce development organization. The role is designed to collectively advance the workforce development strategies of both organizations. As such, the incumbent will report to both entities. This position is responsible for creating and facilitating an industry‐sector‐focused workforce development system that attracts and develops workers in sufficient number to meet the needs of current and prospective employers. This will be accomplished by working with community partners to raise awareness of career opportunities in critical occupations, improving the basic skills and employability of workers, providing skills/career training in targeted fields, increasing collaboration and coordination of workforce development efforts, and creating a better data system for measuring supply and demand. PARTNERSHIPS & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Leadership Montgomery has an opening for a Partnerships & Development Officer. This position will work closely with the Director, Partnerships & Corporate Engagement and CEO by managing frontline fundraising and business development (earned revenue) responsibilities that support the growth of LM. The officer will be responsible for managing corporate and foundation prospects along with building a base of corporate partners/clients.

VARIOUS POSITIONS

Tax Supervisor – 1040 Estate and Trust:
A minimum of 5 years of tax accounting experience with a public accounting firm required. The successful candidate will manage and review 1040’s, estates and trusts with strong opportunities for client ownership and advancement. The Tax Supervisor must have strong tax research skills, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and must be an active CPA. Experience with ProSystems FX is desired.

Audit & Accounting Manager – Nonprofit:
Successful candidates are individuals who want to grow and serve in the nonprofit specialty of our firm. Our nonprofit clients bring a strong sense of purpose to the mission of the organizations they serve. You will have the chance to meet with these clients, their boards and audit committees. 5-9 years of public accounting experience required.

Audit & Accounting Senior:
The senior accountant will provide audit and accounting services to client organizations by working on progressively more complex engagements with minimum assistance. You will assist in the training and supervision of staff accountants and assist in the review of their work. Senior accountants have increasing involvement and communication with our clients and independently solve routine technical problems.

Tax Senior:
The tax senior accountant will provide immediate and long-term tax solutions for both businesses and individuals by working on progressively more complex client engagements with minimum assistance. You will assist in the training and supervision of staff accountants and assist in the review of their work. Senior accountants have increasing involvement and communication with our clients and independently solve routine technical problems.

Administrative Assistant:
The administrative assistant will support Partners and divisional teams. Support includes serving as back-up to drafting and finalizing correspondence, financial statements, and engagement letters, as well as providing seasonal and tax support, including scanning and assembly of tax returns, assisting with CPE (continuing education) program coordination and special projects as assigned (30-40 hours/week).

COMMUNICATIONS AND CONTENT DIRECTOR (Part Time) & DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST (Full Time)

Montgomery Coalition for Adult English Literacy (MCAEL) has an opening for two positions:

The Communications and Content Director will develop and implement a strategic communication plan to tell the story of MCAEL and the essential role the organization plays in building stronger communities and advancing Montgomery County’s workforce.
