Ms. Levingston has been committed to strengthening communities through high-impact nonprofits for the past ten years. In her current role as Vice President, Leadership Programs, she is responsible for the design, content and execution of Leadership Montgomery (LM)’s four leadership programs: Core, Senior, Emerging Leaders and MoCo Insider. Prior to this role, she served as the Director of Member Engagement for LM where she strove to create meaningful opportunities for the community of 2000+ local leaders who comprise LM’s alumni. Prior to joining Leadership Montgomery, Ms. Levingston served as a Program Manager for the Taproot Foundation, a national nonprofit consulting firm, in their New York and DC offices, as well as their headquarters in San Francisco. In that role, she worked to build the capacity of local nonprofits by connecting them with pro bono grants of service. During her time with Taproot, Ms. Levingston was responsible for managing over 200 service grants along with the teams of nonprofit executives and skilled volunteers who were vital to success of each grant. Before moving into the nonprofit sector, Ms. Levingston worked in the media industry, first as a television producer at The Learning Channel, and later at HBO where she produced on-air marketing content for the network giant for over six years. Ms. Levingston graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. She was raised in Silver Spring and currently resides in Potomac with her husband and two children.
